The Jornado Ranch is comprised of 29098 acres located approximately 25 miles south of Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico in Sierra County. The grazing allotment is 294 head, year round. This ranch is scenic, low in elevation and historically has plentiful rainfall and good grass. There are 1780 deeded acres (2.3 sections), 5448 acres of state lease (8.5 sections) and 21,870 BLM acres (34.2 sections). There is a dirt landing strip and a hanger, a 2400 SF site built house, a 2000 SF double wide, hay barn and several storage buildings. There are a couple of dirt tanks. Five drinkers/wells through out the ranch that are solar powered with (2) 3000 gallon poly tanks at each well. Top notch, well designed Powder River working/ sorting set up.
